Role Duties
- Supporting senior management team by overseeing and handling day-to-day production shop-floor operational issues, ensuring, high-quality and cost-efficient customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assisting senior management in delivery of daily production plans.
- Conducting daily shop-floor meetings with production team leaders.
- Generating shift reports for senior managers.
- Assisting in resolving production shop-floor issues.
- Issuing and collecting daily production plans.
- Assist with shop-floor personnel issues.
- Assisting with conducting staff disciplinary and grievance matters.
- To promote a positive and work-focused culture within the production areas.
- To assist with ensuring the highest hygiene and housekeeping standards.
Skills and Attributes
Essential:
- Enthusiastic and positive approach.
- Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
- Computer Literate.
- Great interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and pro-active, wanting a long-term career in the Food Industry.
Highly Advantageous:
- Proven leadership experience within a food environment would be preferable.
Hours of Work
7:30 – 5:00 Monday to Friday
Salary
Up to £40,000 per annum.
