Job Description:

They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Geo-Environmental Engineer to join the team. You will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive expertise in geotechnical and environmental assessments for their construction projects. Your primary focus will be on phase 1 and 2 sites, contributing to the success of the clients' projects by ensuring efficient and effective management of geo-environmental risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct geo-environmental investigations and assessments for phase 1 and 2 sites.

  • Perform site inspections, soil and groundwater sampling, and data collection.

  • Analyse data, interpret results, and prepare comprehensive reports.

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop remediation strategies and sustainable solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations and standards.

  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for site remediation and land development.

  • Stay informed about industry advancements and emerging environmental trends.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience as a Geo-Environmental Engineer.

  • Experience working on phase 1/2 sites and contaminated land.

  • Possession of a full driving license and the right to work in the United Kingdom.

  • Relevant degree in geo-environmental engineering or a related field.
