JT Recruit’s Mansfield Branch are currently looking for Tanker Drivers on behalf of our client in based in Mansfield. 

Our client provides safe, wholesome drinking water wherever, whenever a piped supply is unavailable, unusable, or inadequate. Primarily their work is in supporting the Water Utilities when they have a mains supply issue, keeping the public on supply by using their tankers and other alternative means.

Due to it coming up to our client’s peak period we are looking for drivers who would be happy working Monday to Friday ongoing and also drivers who are happy working ad hoc (ideal for those not wanting full time or who work elsewhere or with other agencies and want to top up their workload).

About the Role:

• You will be responsible for safely abstracting water from the mains networks, ensuring minimal risk of contamination, and transporting and delivering it in the same manner.
• Driving Tankers Containing Water.
• You will receive training and induction which will show you how to connect pipes, work valves on tankers and any other relevant information to the job role. All training will be on days, approx. 2 weeks and is paid.
• Must be willing to do nights out on a regular basis.

The Candidate:

• Valid Tacho, CPC and UK HGV1 Licence
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences
• A minimum of 2 years HGV1 driving experience
• Smart Appearance 
• Excellent customer service / people skills 
• Excellent understanding of the English language
• IT Literate
• Flexible with work hours and nights out 
• Must live within 30 minutes from Mansfield

Rates of Pay: 

• Days £16.00 ph.
• Saturday £20.00 ph.
• Sunday £24.00 ph.
