This is a real opportunity for a commercially minded Trainee Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Project Manager to make their mark in a well-established SME. Show your value to this business, grow with the role, be an instrumental part of installation and commercial team.

We are looking for someone who can contribute to commercial success. You will need experience in contract administration, ensuring precise cost control and budgeting and a proven record of delivering construction schemes. Ideally you will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, with a few years’ experience and ready to take on this important projects and commercial role in a thriving SME.

Brief description of responsibilities:

• Budget establishment and meticulous cost reporting
• Scrutinising contract terms and procurement of subcontract packages
• Managing contractual administration
• Championing effective delay analysis and claim submissions
• Safeguarding commercial interests through variation and compensation event mechanisms
• Ensuring that installation project costs are managed throughout the project life cycle
• Working with the pre-tender team to ensure they are in the best possible position.
