About the Role:

Our client school, based in Barking and Dagenham, is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Tutor to join their team. This role requires a deep understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful candidates will need to pass all background safer recruitment checks.

Job Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Must hold QTS from the UK. Subject Expertise: Strong knowledge in English and Maths. Driving License: Valid UK driving license is essential. ️ Safeguarding: In-depth understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Background Checks: Must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks. References: Provide 2 professional references. ️ DBS: Enhanced DBS on the update service. CV: Updated and comprehensive CV.   Job Responsibilities:

• Personalised Learning: Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for SEN students.
• Progress Monitoring: Track and report on students' progress, ensuring they meet their academic goals.
• Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents, carers, and other professionals involved in the students' education.
• Curriculum Support: Provide support in English and Maths, adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of SEN students.
• Collaborative Working: Work closely with other educators, support staff, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
• Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and tailor teaching strategies accordingly.
• ️ Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and well-being of all students by adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
