Mechanical Maintenance Engineer 

Hartlepool

£43,173 (Inclusive of call out pay) + Company Van + Company Phone + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pension + Training and Development Opportunities

Monday to Friday, 6am to 3.30pm, 7am to 4.30pm and 1.30pm to 11pm.
On Call 1 week in 4, paid additionally for call outs. (The company had 12 call outs in total last year).

Working across 4 sites, 2 within Hartlepool, Washington and Middlesbrough.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer required for a well-established and expanding business. On offer is a role with great opportunities to develop and be involved in investment and improvement projects.

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Role:

• Working across 4 sites on various production/plant machinery.
• Most PPM, with occasional reactive maintenance.
• Working on mobile plant and static heavy plant machinery.
• Mechanical maintenance
• Working on JCB’s, Forklifts, Telehandlers, Excavators and other equipment.
• Working between four sites, 2 based in Hartlepool, 1 in Middlesbrough and 1 in Washington.
• Working on Conveyors Belts, Hydraulics and other Rotating equipment.

The Successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• You will be highly proficient at fault finding. 
• You will come from ideally a Plant Engineering background, Ex Forces are encouraged to apply.
• Those with experience working within a manufacturing environment or extensive experience working on rotating equipment and conveyors
• You will have a Mechanical Engineer qualification, those with a qualification in plant machinery will be at an advantage.
• Experience working with CMMS, gearbox and motors, bearings replacement and will be an advantage if have welding knowledge/certification.
