Job Title: Day Shift Electrical Engineer

Location: Gatwick

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off days only – 6.30am – 6.30pm

Salary: £42,000 basic per annum

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Day Shift Electrical Engineer to join our team based in Gatwick. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems through both planned and reactive maintenance tasks. You will work as part of a shift team of four, contributing to the efficient functioning of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical 3 phase systems.
• Conduct UPS to generator checks.
• Maintain emergency lighting systems.
• Service and test fire alarms.
• Check and clean AHU filters and FCUs.
• Conduct sprinkler tests and water checks.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and reports.

Future Training Opportunities:

• Potential for LV/HV training as necessary to support career progression and development.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance and engineering.
• Strong knowledge of 3 phase systems, UPS, and generators.
• Familiarity with emergency lighting, fire alarms, AHUs, FCUs, sprinkler systems, and water checks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to keep thorough maintenance records.
