Your new company is a supplier of generators ranging from 10kVA to 2500kVA. Their solutions cater to various industries and applications. Headquartered in County Armagh, Northern Ireland, it has a growing dealer network across Europe and the USA. Your new role

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Design of generator control systems and associated equipment
  • Updating and managing wiring schematics.
  • Technical Calculations.
  • Component / sub-systems supplier review.
  • Experience with programming Deep Sea and Comap genset controllers would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Controller Area Network (CAN bus) would be an advantage.
  • Liaison with inhouse panel shop personnel on the assembly / manufacture of products.
  • Complete and apply basic training on engineering standards.
  • Generator upgrades, including but not limited to control panels.
  • Paralleling generator systems.
  • Generator Load Testing.
  • Generator commissioning
  • Knowledge of Stage V and Tier 4 Final engine control systems would be an advantage.
  • Carry out all work in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Occasional travel.
  • On-site canteen
  • Free on-site parking
