This position offers an exciting opportunity for a creative individual with a passion for video editing to contribute to creative content. Our client in Chobham is seeking a fun, hard-working and talented Video Editor to join their creative team supporting with various projects.

This role would suit someone with skills in video editing for a range of content, short & long-form videos and shows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To create, commission and edit content to a publication-ready state to the standards expected by your audience on that particular platform, which could be all or any of the following:
    • Video and livestream
    • Digital magazines
    • Social media
    • Website
    • Podcasts
    • Future platforms as yet unknown
  • Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop innovative video concepts
  • Incorporate music, dialogue, graphics, and effects into videos
  • Ensure all edited videos are delivered on time and meet quality standards
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maximise the revenue and profit to the business

Experience and Skills Requirements:

  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe After Effects
  • Strong understanding of video production processes
  • Knowledge of photography and visual storytelling techniques
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
  • Proven work experience as a video editor with a portfolio
  • Skills in special effects and comedic timing in editing
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Capable of taking and applying creative feedback and direction
  • To use analytical tools (Google, YouTube Analytics, sales data, etc), in-house reports, and communication with the team to make data-led decisions.
  • To identify your own skill gaps and identify a pathway to close any gaps.
