Tradewind is looking for an enthusiastic PPA Teacher for our lovely partner primary school in Bolton.
Position: PPA Teacher
Location: Bolton
Contract: Full-time, September 2024 - July 2025
Pay Rate: £100 - £150 per day, subject to experience
This role is ideal for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with enthusiastic personalities and looking to develop experience across KS1 and KS2, and hone skills in behaviour management, planning and lesson delivery.
This two-form entry school has been rated 'Good' Ofsted in 2020. They pride themselves on developing a friendly and inclusive school environment, with high expectations to ensure students academically and socially flourish.
As a PPA Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons from EYFS to Year 6. You will help maintain a positive learning environment by managing student behaviour in PPA and absence cover lessons as well as leading small group intervention and booster sessions.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/ QTLS
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong curriculum knowledge and adaptability to support across classrooms
- Confident in planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Genuine passion for working with children and enhancing their educational experience
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
