Hello,
My client in Ilford is looking for a CAD CAM CNC Engineer due to expansion.
About the role / Key responsibilities:
· You will be a direct report of the production manager / assistant production manager
· Set/Operate equipment to produce products as required
· Produce production parts and samples to meet production demands and business needs
· Assist in the development of new samples / production parts
· Adhere to health and safety policies whilst maintaining an improvement frame of mind
· Following and maintaining quality standards
· Housekeeping and area organisation
· All company procedures to be adhered to at all times
About you:
Experience / Must have skill requirements
· At least 3-5 years’ experience in an engineering role
· Preferably worked within a manufacturing environment
· Experience in 5 axis CNC / Operating / Setting
· Tool Setting
· Tool Management
· Must have experience in product / process development
· Must be able to control and communicate machine service requirements to the supplier and wider team
Beneficial
· Ultrasonic machining
· DMG Mori – machine experience
· Siemens NX software
· 3 axis machine
· Milling, turning, drilling, routing, cutting, grinding
· Worked with Quartz / Glass materials

· Able to communicate clearly, verbally and electronically, to all levels of colleagues and suppliers in a professional manner
· High energy and drive to meet tasks and goals
· Flexibility to adjust and adapt to the changing requirements in role / equipment and processes
· High attention to detail
· Ability to multitask
· Well organised and tidy Training
· Full training given on operating, setting and programming with the manufacturer
· Parameter programming
· Touch probe measure
· Tool / work holding systems
