Elvet Recruitment have been appointed to recruit for a Scheduler/Planner to join a business in Darlington.

This is a full-time and permanent position.

Responsibilities

  • Liaising with both Technical planners and Team Managers ensuring we get to all emergency jobs reactively.
  • To ensure that work is recorded, prioritised and scheduled.
  • Maximise the effective and efficient delivery of work carried out by the Field Teams.
  • Own and drive an efficient schedule.
  • Maintain a deliverable schedule.
  • Monitor and track the progress of all work released.
  • To respond quickly and appropriately to issues in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • To respond quickly and efficiently to queries from the field and from other departments.
  • To allocate and co-ordinate work orders.
  • Liaise with other planners, schedulers, and site teams.
  • Identify any potential hazards.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience of working in a scheduling / planning role.
  • Proficiency in  MS Office applications.
  • Experience working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • You must have excellent time management, communication, and organisational skills.

Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 – 5.

Every 1 in 4 weeks you will be expected to be on call until midnight. In return, a day in lieu will be taken.  

Salary is £30,000 per annum.
