Location: North & Northwest England

My client a national food service provider is seeking an ambitious and motivated Chef Area Sales Manager to join their team. This is a crucial role and the successful candidate will manage the budget and relationships of a portfolio of high-profile regional accounts. The position requires travel to clients in major city locations in the North & Northwest of England.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage relationships and budgets across restaurants, hotels, major stadia, event sites and other regional group accounts with a multi-million-pound turnover.
* Prospect new business to drive growth in the hospitality and premium catering sectors.
* Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports to the senior leadership team.
* Conduct face-to-face meetings and performance reviews with key contacts monthly.
* Develop and implement sales strategies and product mixes for each customer.
* Prepare accurate budgets and forecasts for all accounts.
* Drive business at unit level in alignment with head office agreements.
* Maintain and negotiate product files for customers.
* Achieve agreed growth targets for sales, profit, retention and new business KPIs.

Skills and Experience:

* Prior experience as a Chef or in B2B sales within the Food Service industry is essential.
* Full UK driving license.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong planning and organisational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Ability to communicate and present effectively to the senior leadership team.
* Interest and understanding of the sports and events industry is desirable.
