My client is seeking a qualified or part-qualified accountant due to expansion.

They are a growing accounts practice with a friendly team across their two main offices in Hadleigh & Ipswich. You will be expected to be able to manage a port-folio of clients (either by previous experience or by guidance from the partners to grow into the role) and undertake both accounts preparation as well as tax work (both corporate and self assessments).

The role will have a varied workload with a diverse client base, you will liaise with clients and help develop the practice along with overseeing junior staff. There will be opportunity to work alongside their Tax Partner (specialism of Ex-Pat taxes) dealing with more complex personal tax cases if desired.

Ideally the candidate will hold the AAT qualification and be working toward ACCA/ACA or QBE, previous practice experience would be desirable and an ability to work quickly/accurately and efficiently with all aspects of accountancy.

Study support is offered to all employees and opportunities to progress within the practice are encouraged to all employees. My client can offer ACA/ACCA/ATT and CTA training within the practice.
