The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking a van driver to work Monday to Friday in and around Basingstoke. We are looking for a delivery driver to be flexible within their working times and have and good understanding of London and the South.

Rates of pay:

• £12.00

Hours of work:

• Monday – Friday
• ADHOC Basis 
• 06:30 start 

Responsibilities of the 3.5t Driver:

• Operate a 3.5T vehicle
• Delivering to shops and stores
• Up to 30 drops a day
• Completing route checks prior to any delivery
• Perform complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order.
• Interact with dispatchers and others daily to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner.
• To check goods off with customers on delivery, obtaining full proof of delivery using our innovative handheld scanners which also navigate you to each delivery.
• Report any safety issues or any accidents as soon as possible and in compliance with the company’s accident reporting procedure’s

Requirements of the 3.5t Driver:

• The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Category B Licence.
• The right candidate must be able to commute to and from our place of operation
• The right candidate should be able to work well on their own initiative and as part of a team
