The Role

We are working with a well-established and highly reputable care home provider who operate a remit of homes across the North and are now looking for a new Home Manager to oversee the day to day operations for one of their elderly dementia specialist services near Manchester. In recent years, the company have succeeded in establishing themselves as a go to provider for specialist dementia care in and around the area that offer high quality care to longstanding clients. With new initiatives and a successful change management program in place the business goes from strength to strength, continuing to grow its portfolio of services.  

The provider is proud of how this particular service is progressing and its loyal, hardworking staff team that continue to offer residents the highest level of care possible. Although the service requires an experienced manager to help it progress, the home has a solid reputation with the local community, local authority and the CQC, as well as other external stakeholders that add value to the already successful service.

Now it's time for a new leader to take the reins and grow the occupancy as well as the day to day quality of care in the home.  
 

The Candidate                        

The successful candidate must have management experience and ideally have managed an elderly care home in or around Manchester.  

The candidate must have excellent leadership skills and provide evidence that their focus is to run a successful care home. This position requires a positive person who can motivate and empower a competent staff team, as well as being commercially savvy and ensure the service goes above and beyond to provide outstanding care for its residents.

Location                        

This role is based on the outskirts of Manchester and is commutable from Bolton, Salford, Stockport, Ashton Under-lyne, Hyde, Oldham, Wilmslow, Altrincham & Macclesfield.   
    

Interview Process                        

The interview process will be in a 2-stage format.                         

Stage one: Teams call: Director  

Stage two: Face to face: Regional Manager & Director         
 

Summary                        

My client is seeking a Registered Manager with exposure to management within a Care Home, where the successful candidate can lead on running a successful home in line with CQC requirements. In exchange, my client is offering a salary of £55k - £60k per annum + benefits.
