Requirements:

• At least a 2:1 psychology bachelor’s degree.
• A passion for the learning and development of SEN students.
• A natural ability to build strong bonds with young people.
• Commitment to following safeguarding procedures.
• Previous experience of working with young people, or in a school setting, is preferable.

 
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1-2-1 support to an SEN student across the syllabus to improve their attainment and achievement levels. You will work in close collaboration with teaching staff to adapt lesson plans and learning materials to suit the needs of the student. You will act as a primary source of support for the student and will play a vital role in their progression.
