Job Opportunity: HGV ADR Class 1 Drivers Needed in Wellingborough

Barker Ross is seeking experienced HGV ADR Class 1 drivers to join our client's team based in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and dedicated drivers to secure ongoing full-time work with the potential for a permanent position.

Position Details:

Location: Wellingborough
Type: Full-time, ongoing with potential for permanent placement
Shifts: Flexible shifts available for both days and nights


Key Responsibilities:

Safely transport hazardous materials in compliance with ADR regulations
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and secure transport
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and logs
Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
Communicate effectively with the transport office and customers


Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving license
Valid ADR certification for transporting hazardous materials
CPC and Digi Tacho Card
Maximum of 6 points on the license (No DD/DR convictions)
Previous experience in a similar role is essential
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
