Fire stopping engineer

RTL Group are looking for two firestopping engineers to work on a major defense project in Reading.
This Role Is Outside IR35!!
The right professional will be excellent at working autonomously, in conjunction with substantial experience in fire safety design and retrospective fire strategies. Third party review/design verification with fire safety standards is desirable with the ability to provide fire consultancy technical advice and services to our clients.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Understanding of UK and EU fire safety legislation and standards,
- Fire strategies and design reviews for new projects and refurbishments.,
- Develop retrospective fire safety strategies,
- 3rd party review/design verification against standards,
- Fire technical and management advice and services to clients.,
- Excellent client liaison and communication skills,
- Excellent IT Proficiency,
- You should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in fire safety consultancy.,
- You will ideally be degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant H&S / design / engineering / related discipline., Desirable :
- You will be registered with a relevant UKAS accredited organisation or professional body (such as the Institution of Fire Engineers).,
