Our client is an established company who are market leaders within their industry with over 60 years of experience. Due to continued growth and investment, they are actively seeking to recruit 3x Manual Machinists to join their busy operations team at their Nottingham site.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to continue their career in a thriving business with a wealth of experience and knowledge in their industry.

You will be contracted to 37.5 hours per week, 7:45am-5pm Monday-Thursday and 7:45am-12:45pm Friday with additional hours as required. In return, you will receive a competitive starting salary of £30k D.O.E, alongside a potential £2,400 production bonus, up to c£5k with overtime, 22 holidays days + stats, company pension, workwear, tools and on-site parking.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operating manual milling/boring/turning machines against tight specifications
• Assisting with the assembly of a range of different products and components
• Adhering to Engineering drawings/ specifications
• Working with a wide range of materials, including carbon/stainless steel and cast iron
• Adhering to strict on-site Health and Safety regulations

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrable experience in a similar role
• Working directly from Engineering drawings
• Working in both metric and imperial
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Experience working to tight tolerances
