Our client has a new exciting opportunity for a Butcher, to be based on site in Surrey. You will be supporting the team and giving advice to customers on a daily basis.
Main responsibilities:
- Greeting customers and advising on products
- Ensuring stock levels are maintained
- Ensure displays are tidy and hygiene is maintained at all times
- Daily care of the shop
- Ensuring prices, signage & labels are up to date & make sure the displays eye catching, clean and relevant
- Preparation of products & assisting with smooth running of the department
- Identify and report Health & Safety issues
Experience required:
- Good communication skills and ability to deal with customers
- Ability to adhere to Health & Safety regulations
- Good stock control experience
- Knowledge of different meat products, ie:
