Mon – Fri – 9am – 5pm – 1 hour lunch

Salary – £28,000 - £35,000 + 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays

We are recruiting for an accountancy practice based in Telford. They are looking for a Client Accountant to be responsible for accounts preparation for a range of limited companies and sole traders.

Working as part of a friendly team your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly accounts for a range of clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant accounting standards
• Preparation and submission of tax returns, VAT returns, and other statutory compliance requirements
• Management of client relationships, providing proactive advice and guidance on accounting matters
• Keeping up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and industry trends, and implementing relevant updates

Skills and Experience

• Strong experience in an accountancy practice, with a proven track record in accounts preparation and tax compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software, including, Xero, or QuickBooks
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously
