Anderson Knight is currently recruiting a Procurement Analyst on a full-time permanent basis for one of our clients based in Glasgow City Centre.

As a Procurement Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing the company’s procurement data to drive efficiency and cost savings. You will work closely with suppliers, manage procurement databases, and support strategic sourcing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain procurement dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
  • Conduct market research to support sourcing strategies and supplier selection.
  • Assist in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Support the implementation of procurement software and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a procurement, sourcing, or supply chain role is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
  • Experience with procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa) is a plus.
