Job Description:

They are seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Joiner to join adynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and installing wooden structures and fittings according to specifications which includes bespoke counter tops, cabinets and bespoke luxury carpentry items. This role demands a high level of precision, attention to detail, and a passion for woodworking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craftsmanship: Manufacture and assemble wooden components such as doors, windows, furniture, and cabinetry based on technical drawings and specifications.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets the high standards of craftsmanship and accuracy that SW Bruce & Co Ltd is known for.
  • Tool Maintenance: Maintain and care for woodworking tools and equipment to ensure they remain in good working condition.
  • Health & Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including designers and project managers, to complete projects efficiently and to client satisfaction.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the manufacturing process.
  • Material Management: Efficiently manage materials to minimize waste and ensure projects stay within budget

Skills:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Skilled with various joinery machinery and software.
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and tools.
  • Ability to operate machinery such as saws, planers, and sanders safely and accurately.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
