Yolk Recruitment are working with a European market leader in specialist pharmaceutical products that transform people's lives to find a Digital Director to lead the Rx Digital / Omnichannel team.

If successful you will join an experienced team and will report to the VP, Head of Commercial Operations and be a member of the Global Commercial Operations Leadership Team. The core responsibility of the Digital Director is to lead the Rx Digital / Omnichannel team, ensuring activities are aligned with commercial objectives and are globally and regionally consistent.

They're based in Harefield, London & operate on a flexible remote / hybrid working with 3-4 days on-site per month but this can be flexible for the right candidate. This role will involved international travel to various European cities.

This is what you will be doing:

• Lead and built the Rx digital / omnichannel function and centre of excellence (at global and local levels)
• Responsible for the line management of the digital / omnichannel team at global and local levels
• Responsible for team development, training, succession planning and recruitment
• Responsible for the integration of digital into sales and marketing strategies across brands and markets
• Responsible for the creation of omnichannel customer journeys to augment face-to-face engagements and reach uncovered targets
• Responsible for developing digital excellence across the organization

Experience needed:

• Extensive commercial digital marketing / omnichannel experience in senior professional positions within the pharmaceutical (prescription) industry with experience at global / local levels
• Experience creating omnichannel journeys in prescription pharmaceuticals
• Experience in developing and implementing digital / omnichannel strategies
• Thorough knowledge of marketing and regional market dynamics, healthcare systems and codes
• Experience in leading multiple products and teams, across different markets
• Effective and impactful communication both internally and externally. alongside diplomatic skills and ability
