Key Responsibilities:

• Driving and Delivery:

  • Operate Class 1 vehicles to transport goods between distribution centers and customer locations.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods, adhering to delivery schedules.
  • Load and unload goods safely, ensuring they are securely strapped and protected during transit.

• Vehicle Maintenance:

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle.

• Compliance and Safety:

  • Comply with all road traffic regulations, company policies, and procedures.
  • Adhere to the Health and Safety guidelines, ensuring the safety of yourself and others.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.

• Customer Service:

  • Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and handling their goods with care.
  • Address any customer inquiries or concerns promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Licensing:

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license.
  • Up-to-date Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
  • Digital Tachograph Card.
