Site Engineering Manager

About the role:

As our Site Engineering Manager, you will be crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our site machinery and ancillary equipment. You will lead and develop a team of maintenance professionals, driving continuous improvement of our systems to reduce downtime and maintain the exceptional quality of our products.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide clear and visible leadership to the engineering team
• Manage on-site legal compliance and contractor relationships
• Develop and improve Planned Preventative Maintenance Systems
• Manage on-site project works in collaboration with the project manager
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely
• Provide an escalation point for critical failures/breakdowns

Requirements:

• Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Proven leadership experience in a maintenance/engineering function within a fast-moving, high-volume food production or manufacturing environment
• Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering performance improvements
• Experience in Lean, TPM, RCA, RCM, and other world-class preventative maintenance methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with CMMS systems
• Excellent prioritisation and time management skills
