Job Title: Bench Hand Joiner

Location: Stoney Stanton

Pay: £15 - £16 per hour

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)

We are hiring for a Bench Hand Joiner that is has a NVQ or Equivalent in Carpentry & Joinery and their own tools.

Duties

In this role you will be reporting to production management, you will be responsible for:

• 1. Match materials to requested design specifications
• 2. Work from drawings to manufacture items & furniture
• 3. Use power tools and machines to cut and shape wood, and other materials
• 4. Assemble sturdy & well-constructed furniture using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
• 5. Work with company quality procedures & guidelines.
• 6. Work within company Health & Safety procedures.
• 7. Keep workplace safe & tidy.
• 8. Work within a team.
• 9. Any other job deemed by the management.

Requirements

As a Bench Hand Joiner, you need to have;

• 1. NVQ or equivalent in Carpentry & Joinery.
• 2. Your own tools.
