Eco2Solar are pleased to announce a new and exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join the UKs largest and most successful Solar PV installer (who were recently invested in by EON) as an Electrician, based in our Kidderminster office.

About the role
The role of the PV Solar Electrician offers the right candidate the opportunity to build, develop and grow their career with a highly reputable and growing company.

Your mission will be to achieve the highest standard of quality, safety and customer service in the electrical elements of PV solar installation on new build housing developments and customer care visits across Scotland.

As a PV Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and achieving weekly KPI for installation of PV systems (inverters and generation meters), accurate and timely submission of paperwork, compliance with MCS and Health, Safety and Quality standards.

This is a site-based role requiring travel on a daily basis. There will be a requirement for overnight stays as and when required.

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential within this role. The role requires good technological skills and the ability to use Apps to complete certifications and reports.

Having the ability to work both as part of a team and also take overall responsibility for your personal workload, whilst delivering excellent levels of service is essential. A desire to put our clients’ needs first and a thirst to develop your own skills is a key part of fitting into this established team.

About you
To be successful in this role you’ll have strong communication skills, be reliable and a team player. You will be able to work within established timeframes and possess excellent timekeeping skills.

Previous experience in solar installations and/or domestic new builds is required. It is important that you have a solid understanding of the 18th Edition, 2391 for testing and inspecting, and ECS card CSCs. Experience in 3 phase installations and EV installation would be helpful but not essential.

We’re offering a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 pa, depending on experience, along with 34 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays and a day for your birthday), contributory pension scheme, monthly wellness benefit, access to the holiday purchase scheme (you can buy and sell up to 5 extra days per year).
