Secondary Supply Teacher Needed in Holmer Green Supply Desk are working in the Holmer Green area to hire a Seondary Supply Teacher who has prior experience, or is a newly qualified Secondary Supply Teacher. The role is flexible to work when you need to and we are offering competitive rates.

Role: Secondary Supply Teacher

Location: Holmer Green

Duties vary but can include:

• Support with teacher duties/deliver lessons and manage classroom
• Help pupils develop and learn while helping the pupils through challenges
• Supervising pupils in the playground, dining hall, cloakrooms and in class
• Helping students develop life skills and encourage them to have a positive outlook
• Keeping records of each pupil’s progress
• Working 1-1 with students, in small groups or helping with a class collectively
• Expected to know the secondary national curriculum at a high level

To register for supply work, you MUST meet the following criteria:

• Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
• Hold, or be willing to carry out, an enhanced DBS
• Be able to provide professional references to cover you for at least 2 years.
• Be a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher.
• Have good classroom management and ability to engage a diverse range of pupil abilities.
• Be flexible and willing to go the extra mile to support pupil progress
• Able to meet new people and build relationships
• Able to commute to Holmer Green and the surrounding areas
