My client has been supplying fluid power products for over 30 years, specialising in high quality, economical industrial hose, hydraulics and associate site services.

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to provide great service to customers by processing orders and enquiries promptly and efficiently. The successful candidate will have flexible attitude, enthusiasm and the right level of desire and commitment to help drive the company forward.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with Company Health and Safety Policy
  • Receiving telephone and email requests for price quotations, orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations
  • Accurately recording all enquiries, orders, and amendments onto the MS Business Central (NAV) system
  • Providing technical support (after training) to customers.
  • Contacting suppliers and sourcing prices for non-stock items.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
  • Providing timely support to Internal and External Sales Representatives as and when required
  • Working closely with manufacturing and warehouse teams to ensure efficient and on time execution of orders.
  • To undertake any other duties from time to time as can be reasonable requested by the company.
  • Abiding by company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • General office administration

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Working in a fast-paced customer service delivery setting
  • Organisational, planning and self-motivation skills
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving to satisfy customer requests
  • Sales or Customer Service environment background
  • Recognising business opportunities

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong verbal, written and personal communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Adaptability and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to absorb and interpret technical information
