About the role as Senior Marketing Manager at Aira
Reporting to the Interim Head of Brand & Product Marketing and working closely with the Growth Performance team and local market country teams, you’ll be a key member of the global marketing community and have a significant impact on the growth of the business. The main mission of this role is to ensure Aira has best-in-class marketing and product marketing communications across all channels and local markets. This mission is fundamental to the company wide ambition of opening up a nascent category and becoming the brand synonymous with it.
This role is for a 12 month fixed term contract with the possibility to extend. You'll be working 2 days a week out of our brand new Kings Cross office.
What you will be doing as Senior Marketing Manager at Aira
- Support both Global and UK Marketing functions in the execution of marketing and product marketing campaigns to drive brand and sales growth; including educational content, product marketing assets, test and learn campaigns, sales brochures, gathering insight to inform future campaigns and communications.
- Create general marketing collateral to support all channels including website, customer communications, PR, events and sales channel.
- Support in the development of communication propositions including insight driven product marketing communications that help consumers understand the benefit of our product.
- Produce locally relevant content with our design studio for our website and supporting channels.
- Responsible for finance processes including budget management, estimate and invoice sign off.
- You will work in close collaboration with the entire global marketing community, in particular, the Global Marketing Manager, Global Social Media Manager, Performance Team, PR Team and Design Studio.
- Third party agency management and other external suppliers to ensure that all marketing collateral / activity is produced to a very high standard.

- You are a superb communicator and a natural at making seemingly complex things very simple for our customers.
- You have a great attention to detail, helping to ensure the Aira brand comes to life perfectly in every touchpoint.
- You have experience in leading the creative development process and comfortable providing clear and constructive feedback.
- You have experience in driving the development of website content that best brings to life product benefits.
- You have the ability to understand and articulate technical concepts and translate these into compelling product marketing, customer focused communications across a range of customer touchpoints.
- You have strong relationship building skills based upon mutual trust and great communications, and who thrives on building a high performance, customer obsessed culture.
- You have great interpersonal skills and a proven ability to operate effectively with other members of the business in product, design, commercial & development - to ensure that cross functional initiatives are effectively executed.
- You will be happy to get your hands dirty and live within relatively confined budgets.
- You will also be able to demonstrate you are organised and can multitask in a friendly, specialised, fast paced, intellectually challenging, proactive environment and work quickly to master detail under pressure.
- The ability to remain calm and bring order to complex tasks with tight deadlines is essential.
- You have a flair for innovation, an entrepreneurial mindset and working in a start-up environment, no task is beneath you and new challenges are actively sought out.
Ideal Experience
- You have strong marketing skills, preferably in the direct to consumer, tech, energy or sustainability industry.
- Experience in a start-up environment would be great.
- You have a strong knowledge of marketing best practices.
- You have experience of creating highly engaging content aligned to the overall marketing strategy.
- Excellent copywriting skills and creative judgement.
- You have exceptional data interpretation and manipulation skills and experience.
- Experience in successfully navigating complex matrix organisations to deliver the best outcomes for the customer.
