Purpose: Join our skilled team as a Welder, where you will play a vital role in the fabrication and assembly of metal structures and components. Your expertise will ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure precise welding operations.
- Inspect and test welded joints and components to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality requirements.
Other Responsibilities:
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Follow Health and Safety regulations, procedures, and best practices.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, accidents, or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Continuously improve welding skills and knowledge through training and professional development opportunities.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a welder, with proficiency in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Welding certification or qualification from a recognized institution.
- Experience with welding in various positions (flat, vertical, overhead).
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties.
