Job Title; Bookkeeper
Salary; £22,000 to £25,000 pro rata, per annum plus excellent benefits
Please note this is a part time role of between 10 and 20 hours per week, depending on
the candidate preference and availability.
Our client are a leading provider of professional services including accountancy and
auditing, tax planning, funding and asset finance to a range of businesses throughout the
UK. Due to continued, planned growth they are seeking to appoint a Bookkeeper to their
Nottingham or Derby office depending upon the candidates preference.
Bookkeeper Role;
• Assisting with the posting of purchase invoices
• Preparation of purchase ledger payment runs
• Posting of bank income, expenses and preparing reconciliations
• Assisting credit control departments
• Posting journals
• Assisting with month-end routines
• Preparing financial reports & liaising with national reporting functions
Bookkeeper Candidate;
• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally with practice experience
• AAT qualified or bookkeeping experience with external clients
• Knowledge of Xero and Sage 50
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good IT skills including use of Excel
