Site Agent Surfacing
 
Location: Ipswich
 
I am looking for a Site Agent with surfacing experience to join our client in Suffolk. This role involves overseeing the construction of all planned works as part of a long term contract with the client
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Project Management: Supervise on-site schemes ensuring safety, timely completion, adherence to budget, and compliance with HSEQ standards.
·Resource Coordination: Efficiently manage labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor resources.
·Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with network managers, local authorities, community groups, designers, and other stakeholders.
·Safety Assurance: Ensure construction phase plans, method statements, and safety systems are in place and maintained.
·Training and Competency: Verify the competence and training of in-house and subcontractor site personnel.
·Commercial Performance: Engage with commercial teams to take responsibility for the project's commercial outcomes.
·Record Keeping: Maintain accurate site diaries, records of work activities, resource allocations, and as-built information.
·Programme Development: Support the Scheme Delivery Manager in developing construction programmes, phasing plans, and method statements.
·Supply Chain Relationships: Develop and maintain close working relationships with key supply chain partners.
·Early Contractor Involvement: Contribute to early contractor involvement and buildability considerations, including traffic management.
·Value Management: Participate in value management processes and value engineering reviews as required.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
 
Qualifications:
·IOSH/SMSTS.
·CSCS.
·HNC or Degree Qualified (desirable but not essential).
·Clean, full driving license.
