Job Title: Business Process Analyst - Professional Services (HR/Payroll/Tax)

Location: REMOTE

Day Rate: £375 - £400 P/Day

Duration: 6 months (likely to extend)

Mandatory Experience:

  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within the professional services arena, particularly in accounting, tax, HR, and payroll services, ideally within outsourcing.
  • Proven track record of documenting and improving business processes within outsourcing
  • Experience working on process automation, AI, and technology integration projects.
  • Experience in developing business cases and ROI proposals for improvements

The role:

Process Documentation and Validation:

  • Engage with various business units to document key processes thoroughly by analysing existing SOP material, shadowing key stakeholders, interviewing operators and producing detailed process maps.
  • Validate processes through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analysis to ensure alignment with day-to-day processes.
  • Identify process flaws, scalability issues, and control gaps in each process and document findings, risks and recommendations.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and up to date and stored in a centralised MS Teams repository.

Process Analysis and Improvement:

  • Analyse documented processes to pinpoint inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights to validate proposed improvements including our fanatical client experience approach.
  • Propose solutions leveraging data, AI, process automation, and technology to improve and scale processes.
  • Develop business cases for proposed improvements, including cost-benefit analysis working closely with Fractional CIO and the board.
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Implementation Support:

  • Support the implementation of approved process improvements.
  • Assist in developing training materials and conducting training sessions.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Lead weekly process improvement sessions for the dedicated project team (Wednesdays)
