Sales Assistant with Driving Duties

Salary: £11.86 Per Hour, plus quarterly bonus

If you are good at building a rapport with a wide range of people, own a positive outlook and have a UK driving license, then our hybrid Sales Assistant-Driver role at Dulux Decorator Centre is for you. This role is all about providing great customer service to professionals & DIY enthusiasts, in store and when carrying out deliveries to homes and businesses.


The role

This is a Full time 40 hour per week role, and you need to be available to work shifts between 7am and 5pm Mon-Fri. You will also work some 1 in 3 Saturday shifts (8am to noon) on a rotational basis, to which you will have time off in lieu.
This role will involve driving 50% of your time and working in store as a sales assistant 50% of your time.

* Mix paint to customer requirements
* Engage with customers and provide product advice
* Deliver orders to customers
* Collaborate with colleagues to reach store targets
* Follow the merchandising plan to restock the shop floor
* Provide feedback to improve our overall service to customers
* Carry out daily/weekly van inspections & report any concerns
* Provide great customer service
* You may spend some of your time driving and the remainder in-store as a sales colleague, although there may be days whereby you will spend all your time in store, so it is essential that you have a background in sales/retail
