Our client is a leading provider of comprehensive fire and security solutions. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Multi-Skilled Fire and Security Install and Commissioning Engineer to join their team.
As a Senior Multi-Skilled Fire and Security Install and Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of a wide range of fire and security systems. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission of fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV systems, and access control systems.
- Conduct site surveys and provide technical advice to clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance and functionality.
- Ensure all installations and services comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide detailed documentation and reports on completed work.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire and security system installation and commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., FIA, BAFE, NSI, SSAIB) are highly desirable.
- Good knowledge of London and the home counties postcodes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid clean driver’s license and willingness to travel to various sites.
