Job Description

We are seeking a Catering Services Manager to organise and control all aspects of our catering operation, strategically planning for growth and profitability.

In this role, you will manage and provide direction, guidance, and support to staff, ensuring they can carry out their roles efficiently and effectively.

Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining high standards of service and fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and provide direction, guidance and support to staff in the provision of all elements of the catering services, ensuring they are able to carry out their roles efficiently and effectively
• Ensure a standard of personal and general cleanliness and hygiene as to comply with company and statutory regulations
• Create, maintain and enhance effective working relationships with staff working within their control, other staff within the Company, the Client Company and individuals in the external environment
• Manage and evaluate objectives and targets for the Contract and produce a Business Plan to ensure all requirements are met and the business developed
• Ensure objectives are met through effective planning, allocation and monitoring of work for self and teams
• Ensure effective recruitment, training and development of staff and ensure succession plans are in place for key positions on the contract

• Understands business issues and operations in terms of revenue, costs and profit
• Ability to develop strong client and customer relations for the business
• Ability to exceed customer needs delivering high quality sales and service, ensuring team do the same
