Position: Estimator
Location: Cradley Heath
Type: Permanent

We're recruiting on behalf of our busy engineering client in the Cradley Heath area, for an experienced Estimator. Previous experience quoting and estimating with Aluminium and Steel in a manufacturing enviroment would be an advantage.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Cost Estimates: Calculate manufacturing costs for new contracts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Adhere to Standards: Follow company standards and guidelines to analyse and provide estimations. Focus on maximising profit and customer satisfaction while minimising potential risks.
• Proposal Preparation: Develop detailed, well-written proposals tailored to each client’s needs.
• Project Management: Efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery to clients.
• Client and Supplier Liaison: Maintain effective communication with customers and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues promptly.
• General Office Duties: Perform a variety of office tasks including answering phones, filing, and attending meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Estimator or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
