Workplace description: Nestled in the heart of Highland Perthshire, this hotel & spa is a truly unique five star hotel. Lovingly restored, it draws inspiration from its historic past and breath-taking surroundings whilst adding the odd contemporary twist.

Main duties and responsibilities: As the Head Therapist, you will be responsible for overseeing all spa operations, managing a team of skilled therapists, and delivering world-class treatments. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining our spa’s esteemed reputation and ensuring every guests experience is exceptional.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of therapists to deliver exceptional treatments and customer service.
• Conduct regular training sessions to maintain high standards and introduce new techniques.
• Oversee the scheduling of therapists to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Ensure all treatments meet our five-star standards and protocols.
• Manage inventory of spa products and supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with the spa manager to develop new treatments and packages.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments and client information.

Essential criteria:

• Proven experience as a Senior or Head Therapist in a luxury spa environment.
• Professional certification in massage therapy, esthetics, or a related field.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of spa treatments, products, and industry trends.
• Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor under pressure.
• Proficiency in spa management software is an asset.
