Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (Basic Salary) plus Commission

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recruitment Consultant to join our Construction division. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the construction industry, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in recruitment. As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, from identifying and attracting top talent to placing candidates in roles that align with their career aspirations and our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the construction industry, understanding their business needs and recruitment requirements.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Identify, attract, and engage high-caliber candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
  • Screening & Interviewing: Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to ensure candidates meet the specific requirements of the roles and are a good cultural fit for our clients.
  • Job Matching: Match candidates to appropriate job opportunities, providing detailed briefings and preparing them for interviews.
  • Offer Management: Negotiate job offers and employment terms between clients and candidates, ensuring a positive experience for both parties.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and salary benchmarks within the construction sector to provide informed advice to clients and candidates.
  • Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the recruitment database, ensuring all client and candidate information is properly documented.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction sector, expanding the client base and growing revenue streams.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 18 months' experience in recruitment within the construction industry. 
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of the construction industry and various job roles within it.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Strong negotiation and sales skills.
    • Proficient in using recruitment software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve results.
    • High level of professionalism and integrity.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
    • Resilient and adaptable to changing market conditions.
