Customer Relationship Specialist – Burton on Trent

Our award winning client is seeking a Customer Relationship Specialist to join their successful team based in Burton to provide an efficient and effective service to their customers (Hirers, Suppliers and Brokers) understand their needs and requirements, exceed those wherever possible, and provide consistent support to the Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and managing finance applications and agreements throughout the full lifecycle, ensuring an efficient service is delivered to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Sales/Customers to smooth the onboarding and agreement set-up processes with a focus on getting things right first time and providing an efficient, effective service to our customers, providing real-time updates to customers and other interested parties when required
  • Provide support to the Sales/Customers with processing of new proposals, including checks on anti-money laundering, credit searching, linking exposures and loading and checking assets
  • Responsible for checking and collating documentation and associated paperwork in a timely manner to ensure Customer needs are met and the business are in full compliance with current legislation and credit approvals

·Preparing accurate payments to suppliers, brokers and customers

·Respond to email and telephone enquiries in a timely manner

  • Process all requests, including settlement quotes, agreement settlement, reschedules, process card payments, refunds and updates to account information plus other activity required as and when requested.
  • Ensure all requests are processed in compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and SLA’s
  • Address Customer complaints in accordance with policy
  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

Requirements:

  • Can work independently as well as part of a team
  • Are proactive and take initiative
  • Have good analytical ability
  • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Can develop and maintain relationships through strong interpersonal skills.
  • Have experience of providing excellent Customer support
  • Obtain GCSE Level Mathematics and English or equivalent
  • Have knowledge of Microsoft Products
  • Previously have knowledge and experience of the Financial Services Industry and in similar operational or customer facing roles
  • Have knowledge and experience of the Asset Finance industry.
