Fire Survey Manager

My client is currently looking for an established Fire Survey Manager to become part of their growing team down in Bedford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Being responsible for leading a fire safety management system for fire risk assessments and fire surveys, as well as building key working relationships
- Developing, implementing and maintaining strategy and promoting a positive safety culture
- Developing Health and Safety strategies
- Validating fire risk assessments under the BAFE SP205 Accreditation
- Planning, completing, reviewing and validating of high-risk fire assessments
- Auditing fire risk assessments and surveys
-Liaising with fire risk assessors, Project Managers, Architects, Building Control bodies and Fire Rescue service
- Planning and carrying out audits on the Fire Survey Team
In order to be considered for the role, you must have:
- Level 4 in Fire Safety (I know you are completing this so that’s fine)
- Membership of a professional body I.E. IFSM or equivalent experience
- Level 2 Certificate of Passive Fire Protection
- Being able to perform compartmentation surveys and type 1,2,3 and 4 FRA/PFP inspections
In return, the successful Fire Survey Manager will receive:
- Transport and mileage covered
- 28 days holiday plus bank holidays
- £55K-75K
