Transport Planner

My Client in Tankersley S75 are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Transport Planner to join their national courier business

Hours/Pay –

06.00-14.30

Mon-Fri

Weekend work from time to time but paid at an enhanced rate.

£31,000pa -£32,000pa

Duties –

• Plan and implement all accurate routing for routes in conjunction with the Site Contract Managers.
• Ensure all schedules are kept up to date and routes are planned, and legally compliant
• Ensure compliance with all security standards required surrounding Customer contracts.
• Undertake regular review of volume forecasts and amend resource planning as appropriate.
• Liaise with customer where required, to ensure a swift resolution to any route planning relate queries
• Ensure daily performance information is produced, variances investigated, and appropriate actions taken.
• Work with new business development team to help secure new business and successfully migrate to implementation.
