Jr Java & AWS Engineer

Job Description

This role involves migration, automation of AWS infrastructure creation, replacing non-supported services, and ensuring successful deployment by passing integration and non-regression tests. Note, data migration is not included in this project.

Essential Skills

• Experience with Java Development Kit (JDK) 17
• Proficiency in AWS 2.0 SDK
• Familiarity with AWS Graviton and building locally for ARM
• Capability to automate AWS infrastructure through CDK (Cloud Development Kit)
• Ability to replace AWS services not available in the target region with suitable alternatives

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Working Environment

This role involves coordinating with various teams to migrate services to a new region, ensuring all technical specifications are met and all necessary tests are successfully passed.
