We seek a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to support the engineering team of our manufacturing client with a big in-house design team. In this pivotal role you'll contribute to the design of electrical equipment for multiple applications. Your responsibilities will include implementing electrical best practices, adhering to industry standards, and collaborating with the design team to create innovative solutions. The successful candidate should have hands-on design experience and a solid grasp of electrical engineering principles, along with basic knowledge of mechanical and electronic design.

• Review design requirements and produce relevant documentation
• Produce electrical wiring diagrams using Auto-CAD Electrical and corresponding component layouts
• Adhere to quality systems, including using Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to document changes
• Participate in research, development, and product testing 
• Conduct technical investigations, perform root cause analysis, and initiate corrective actions
• Provide technical support to Production, Sales, Service, and Customer Support
• Deliver projects on schedule and within budget, managing a complex workload efficiently
• Identify and apply new industry-wide processes within the company

• Multiple years electrical design experience, with detailed knowledge of wiring regulations and harness design
• Qualified in electrical engineering
• A high level of competency within electrical design software 
• Ability to integrate not only with the design team, but also other office staff and the manufacturing operatives, with clear communication and an approachable personality.
