Full Time (part-time working and job share considered).

Based in Hertford with the option for home working up to 50% of working hours.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team! In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working on a wide range of projects within our Human Resources and Organisational Development team. You will contribute to delivering essential payroll and HR services to a diverse workforce while developing your skills through a Payroll Administrator Apprenticeship Level 3.

What will you be doing?

- Providing general administrative support to the payroll team.
- Assisting employees, members, and other stakeholders via telephone, face-to-face, and email communication.
- Updating and maintaining the HR and Payroll Information system, currently Resourcelink.
- Processing documentation related to employees, such as new starters, contract variations, and leavers, in line with relevant payroll and data protection legislation.
- Completing a Payroll Administrator Apprenticeship Level 3.

About you

As an ideal candidate, you will have:

- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (grade C or above), including Maths and English.
- Experience communicating with a wide range of people.
- Proven experience of meeting deadlines in a pressured environment.
- The ability to manage your own workload, prioritise tasks, and work to strict statutory deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
