Excellent opportunity for a HGV Class 1 Night driver based in Avonmouth, Bristol.
We are currently looking for a Class 1 Night driver to join the team in Avonmouth, Bristol, you will be working for a premier supplier of pallet distribution services across the Southwest.
You will be driving a Class 1 curtain sider vehicle, usually completing between 2 to 4 drops or collections each day. Starting at 9pm a typical day could be up to 10 hours, working Monday to Friday. There are also plenty of options for overtime on Saturdays.
Each day you will need to secure the load, complete vehicle checks and complete paperwork. However, no handball and no heavy lifting will be involved as the stock is loaded and unloaded for you by Forklift.
This is a great opportunity for a permanent position working with an excellent company that includes 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays and 3 days at Christmas.
Requirements
- Previous Class 1 driving experience.
- Full UK driving licence, with category C+E
- Valid Tacho and CPC.
- Good level of customer service.
- Safety boots and high viz.
- An understanding of health and safety.
