Salary up to £40,000pa
Our client is a well established and respected company and they require a Service Charge Accountant for their Gravesend office.
The Role
- Prepare Statutory and Service Charge Accounts (Residential and Commercial Properties)
- Liaise with external auditors
- Upload Service Charge budgets
- Raise invoices to tenants
- Deal with Technical points on accounts preparation, in accordance with ARMA/RICS regulations
- Ensure appropriate fees are raised
- Liaise with Managers to finalise the accounts and ensure accounting requirements within the RICS Code and tenants leases are met
- Prepare reconciliations and accounts for new properties taken on by the Block Management Department.
The Person
- Good knowledge of ARMA and RICS regulations
- Experience of Client Accounting Software (ideally TRAMPS or APB)
- High level of concentration, accuracy and attention to detail
- Self motivated
- Able to prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Work well under pressure
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
