Service Charge Accountant 
Gravesend 
Salary up to £40,000pa 


Our client is a well established and respected company and they require a Service Charge Accountant for their Gravesend office. 

The Role
 
  •  Prepare Statutory and Service Charge Accounts (Residential and Commercial Properties) 
  • Liaise with external auditors  
  • Upload Service Charge budgets 
  • Raise invoices to tenants 
  • Deal with Technical points on accounts preparation, in accordance with ARMA/RICS regulations 
  • Ensure appropriate fees are raised 
  • Liaise with Managers to finalise the accounts and ensure accounting requirements within the RICS Code and tenants leases are met 
  • Prepare reconciliations and accounts for new properties taken on by the Block Management Department.

The Person 
 
  • Good knowledge of ARMA and RICS regulations 
  • Experience of Client Accounting Software (ideally TRAMPS or APB) 
  • High level of concentration, accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Self motivated 
  • Able to prioritise effectively 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Work well under pressure 
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software 
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
